Our story
NitroConvert started with a frustration most people share: needing to upload a passport photo or signature to a government portal and being told the file must be under 20KB. The alternatives at the time were either bloated desktop apps that took longer to install than to use, or sketchy online services that asked you to hand over your most sensitive personal documents to an unknown server. We thought there had to be a better way — a tool that runs entirely in your browser, finishes in seconds, and never sees your image. That tool became NitroConvert.
Our mission
To make image compression and conversion radically simple, fast, and private. We believe basic utilities like file conversion should never require an account, never display ads on top of your work, and never upload your personal files to a remote server. Every feature we ship is measured against that bar.
